3 Dec 1669: Thomas Canney conveyed land to his son Joseph Canney that, after his decease, was to go to "his heires Lawfully begotten on ye body of Mary his wife". [Note: this is the reason for thinking there was a wife prior to Mary Clements, since this is over a year before the recorded marriage to Mary Clements, if that marriage record is correct.]
