    In Rockbridge County, Virginia marriages:
1810: John Wright and Martha McLaughlin
1812: Charles Wright and Dorothy McLaughlin
I believe these two to be brothers and the two females to be sisters. They traveled from Rockbridge County to Montgomery County, Virginia by 1820. In 1830, I believe them to be in Sullivan County, Tennessee. In 1840, JOhn is in Russell County, Virginia and is there until 1860 when he is not found anymore after this census. Charles went on to Carter County, Kentucky where he and Dorothy are found also until 1860. Does anyone know anything about these two families? Were they sister's? Who were their parents?
In 1850 John's children list their places of birth as Rockbridge County, Montgomery County, and Russell County. Therefore, I am pretty sure these are the correct census records. Also, John's oldest son Robert's daughter gives her place of birth as Sullivan County, Tennessee in about 1831, so I'm pretty sure they were there in the 1830 Census
