First mention of Alice is her signing of the indenture of Benjamin Savory on 3 Nov 1653 [see #S3 ], and she d. 6 Mar 1654/55. That, combined with fact that no known children are named Alice, suggests she may not have been his first wife, nor mother of his children. However, no evidence of an earlier marriage is known. If she is a second wife, their marriage occurred by 3 Nov 1653. If she is indeed his only wife, their marriage would have been before 1622, the estimated birth date of son John.
