Aedesia Peebles was the dau. of John Peebles and Jane Black Peebles. She m. 1st on 30 Aug. 1827 in Mayfield, Graves Co., Ky to John G. Lockridge who died in 1833. They had one dau. Catherine G. Lockridge, b. 5 Aug. 1832 in Pulaski Co., Ky.

Catherine is living in one of the census in the household of Albert Anderson, forgot to look it up. Catherine m. Henry Jones on 8 Oct. 1850 in Saline Co., Il. (not sure which Henry Jones.) Catherine and Henry had 3 daughters. 1. Mary Cassandra b. 15 Sept. 1854 m. Wm. T. Tate. 2. Aedessia Elizabeth b. 19 Sept. 1854. 3. Martha Adaline b. 4 Sept. 1857 m. Rufus Ashby Shepherd and they are parents of Chloe Norma Shepherd who m. Otto Crawford Jones, son of Samuel and Melissa (Ritter) Jones. > > Martha Adaline m. 2nd to Joseph Vantrease. Everyone seems to list the last name as Thornsbury. > We do know that Turner Ware m. Martha Adaline Peebles (sister to Aedesia > (Peebles) (Lockridge) Anderson, and their othe sister Rebecca m. Richard > Baldree. So it all fits to the Ware family in my opinion. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/ILSALINE/2002-11/1037675453
