Served as a Justice of the Courts of Chancery and Oyer and Terminer. 1774 - Lord Dunmore's War - In William Herbert's Company. He was switched to Walter Crockett's company, according to the pay lists, and it appears from the number of days served (108) that he and William and Robert Montgomery were present at the Battle of Point Pleasant (all in Crockett's company).
