There are a couple of potential marriages however it seems likely that the correct one occurred in Kiltearn Parish, Ross And Cromarty, Scotland on the 15th December 1841, prior to Janet's birth in about 1843. This in the Parish where Isabella was born and is also where their second child, James was born so it would make sense. There is another option that when Isabella was six months pregnant with James, John and Isabel were married in Glasgow, close to Stirling in Scotland on the 11th June 1844.
