The death record of John Dummer, which lists his wives, identifies his second wife as "Mrs. Mercy Gardner of Haverhill", even though the marriage is recorded in Bradford, which by inspection of the Haverhill VRs, suggests she is the widow of Rev. Joshua Gardner of Haverhill.
