The Wife listed as Amanda Inman is an incorrect maiden name. Amanda is my Great-Great-Grandmother Amanda Breeden daughter of Bryant Breeden and Mary Ann Panther. Amanda first married Willis Inman who died at the start of the Civil War. Amanda then Married my G-G-Grandfather John A Cook. John came from Surry County< North Carolina at the beginning of the Civil War. John and Amanda divorced in 1878 and Amanda remarried in 1888 to H E Smith.
