    'Susan [daughter of John and Elizabeth (Whatman) Brooke], bapt. 6 March 1559/60 [St. Leonard's in Eastcheap], m. St. Leonard's, 3 June 1577, John Bonner, probably the John, son of John Bonner, grocer, bapt. 28 Sept. 1549. They were living in 1599. He was not the John Bonner, Citizen and Haberdasher of St. Stephens, Coleman Street, whose will (PCC 53 Woodhall), was probated in 1601.'
