- Sumner County
- Know all men by these presents that we James Latimer and John Hutson [unreadable] our Heirs etc. etc. are jointly & severally held & firmly bound unto his excellency Archibald Roane esquire Governor of said State or his successors in office in the penal sum of twelve hundred & fifty Dollars, to be void on condition that there be no lawful objection why the said James Latimer & Jinny Hamilton may not be joined together as man & wife in the holy estate of matrimony. Witness our hands & seals this 16th day of July anno Domini 1803.
