They lived in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

The 1850 United Staters Census lists several other persons as resident. They include Conratte McGline, age 60, a laborer, Christian Berkley, age 68, and Binkley, age 58, a miller.

Since Jacob was an innkeeper, possibly these gentleman rented rooms from him.

Also listed a Rebecca, age 13, and Sarah, age 11, Reidenbach. While age-wise, they could be Reidenbach daughters, they are at the end of the list.

All 5 persons are listed as being born in Pennsylvania.
