They had three children. One daughter-in-law Judy Payton, was b. in 1940 and d. 29 Nov 2003. Howard and Della are buried in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry IA.

Judith W. McLuen, obit in Des Moines Register. Judith W. McLuen, 63, died November 29, 2003. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 3 at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry and burial in Violet Hill Cemetery. Judith was co-owner of McLuen Hardware Store in Perry and a member of the Dallas County Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Donald McLuen; daughters, Catherine Royer-McKnight of Minburn; son, Daniel McLuen of Bouton, five grandchildren and sister Linda Dawson of Perry. Visitation begins after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
