Mrs. Julia Gale, of Jamestown, has joined her daughter, Miss Jessie, at her father Horace Butterfield's.[3]

Mrs. H. P. Gale and daughter Jessie and Mrs. Will Burford, of Chicago, are guests at Horace Butterfield's. Sunday was the occasion of a very happy family dinner in honor of Mr. Butterfield's seventy-fifth birthday, the first time in many years that all the children have been at the old homestead together.[1]

Mrs. Judson Butterfield gave a six o'clock luncheon last Thursday in honor of her visiting guests, Mrs. Julia Gale, Miss Jessie Gale and Miss Nellie D. Howard. There were present Mrs. Minnie Jamieson, of Worcester, Mass., Mrs. Marion Bentley, Canton, Mrs. Maggie Brown and daughters Clarise and Ruth and Bessie Andrews. A delightful afternoon was spent by the "old girls" in calling up school days and childhood reminiscences.[1]

Mrs. Maggie Brown informally entertained a few friends musically Friday evening, and a most enjoyable evening was passed. After the musicale mr. Frank Couch gave one of his inimitable monologues showing his versatility and artistic ability. There were present Mr. and Mrs. Noyes, Mr. and Mrs. Adson Crary, Miss Jessie Couch, Mr. Frank Couch, Miss Helen Lobdell, Mr. and Mrs. Judson Butterfield, Mrs. Julia Gale, Miss Jessie Gale and Miss Nellie Howard.[1]

Mrs. Julia Gale left Friday for Indianapolis where she will spend a month with her sister, Mrs. Gertrude Burford. She has been at the home of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Judson Butterfield, for the past six weeks.[4]
