Listed as a possible child of Joseph Reiff (bap. 8 Sep 1657):
'[?] Hans Reiff, b. c1688, Ibersheim. d. 1750, Rapho Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania [citing Will A-190, Lancaster]. He wrote his will 16 Mar 1749 and it was proved 5 May 1750. In his will he asks that his estate be divided equally among his children. In his will he gave 100 acres each to sons Henry (the north tract with the house and barn), John ("the plantation whereon I Dwels") and Abraham. In his will he gave his daughters Barbara and Ann 12 pounds each. He does not mention his known son Jacob or his probable son Joseph. He named his brothers Jacob Reiff and Abraham Reiff and his friend Christian Hershey as the executors of his will in 1750. Witnesses to the will were Jacob Reiff and Emmanuel Carpenter. Hans arrived in Pennsylvania in 1717. Hans lived at Salford Township, Montgomery County in 1718. ... His wife died at Salford Township and Hans then moved in 1745 to Lancaster County. His wife Anna and one daughter are buried in Salford Township. Hans was a Mennonite.'
