Obviously there is a discrepancy in these sources, one being a year off. I double checked the Libby book and it does say 1832, but given two independent sources (one giving intentions, one giving actual marriage, by different agencies) contradicting it, I must assume this is a mistake in Libby. He may suspected an error in the records, and adjusted the date, given the birth of eldest child David on 29 May 1833?
