Pulaski Democrat, 22 Mar 1945: MISS HELEN LaCELLE MARRIED IN ORWELL The marriage of Miss Helen LaCelle, 102 W Dominick ST, Rome, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett LaCelle, and Cpl. Elmer B. Hepler, son of Mrs. Cora S. Hepler, Covington VA, took place at the home of Mrs. Earle Elkin, Orwell on March 9... The Rev. Herbert Moore of Sandy Creek officiated. The bride wore a princess style white brocaded gown... A reception at the home of Mrs. Elkin followed the ceremony. After a short honeymoon the couple will make their home in Rome, where Cpl. Hepler is stationed. The bride is a graduate of Sandy Creek Central School and Rome Central Business School and is employed by the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene, Albany. Cpl. Hepler returned to the states last June after 37 months overseas. Elmer B. Hepler of Covington VA Friday... at the home of her sister, Mrs. Earl Elkins of Orwell. Rev. Herbert Moore performed the ceremony. Attendants were Mrs. Elkins and Mr. LaCelle, sister and father of the bride. A white gown was worn by the bride and her attendant was in pink. Mrs. Hepler is a stenographer in Rome. References
