Eliakim and Susan resided in Stoneybrook, Somerset Co., New Jersey on 17 December 1730S1. Eliakim signed his will on October 29, 1765 in Somerset County, New JerseyS1. Eliakim died in 1767 at the age of 79 in Somerset County, New JerseyS1.

4) Joseph Hedger

Joseph Hedger, son of Susannah Thorne and Eliakim Hedger, was born on August 31, 1718 in Flushing, Long Island, Colonial New Amsterdam. He grew up in New York and after his mother's death, moved with his father's family to Woodbridge. Joseph immigrated between 1728 and 1730 to Woodbridge, Colonial New Jersey. Joseph later immigrated before 3 December 1776 to St Marks Parish, Culpepper County, Colonial Virginia. Joseph died in Virginia.
