1. NEHGR article, "The English Ancestry of Thomasine (Clench) Frost, First Wife of Edmund Frost of Cambridge, Massachusetts" by Thompson, Neil D., Publication: NEHGR 153:611 (July 1999) documents her as CLENCH; namely that microfilmed parish register records from the town of Earls Colne, Essex County, England show Reverend Thomas Shepard married Edmund Frost and Thomasine "Clenche" Apr. 16, 1634. This is significant because Edmund and Thomasine came to America with Shepard. [or so it is believed] Also, this distinguishes Edmund's wife from Thomasin Belgrave. (If you look at WorldConnect, you'll see a ton of people who believe Thomasin Belgrave was wife of emigrating Edmund. She clearly was not.)
