American Ancestry : Giving the Name and Descent in the Male Line of American Ancestors Settled in the United States Previous to the, p. 7:80) list the marriage of Ebenezer and Jane as "about 1771" based on the birth of their first child, Samuel, 26 Jul 1772. The church records cited S1 are printed in date order, suggesting 1772 is correct, but it would be helpful to verify this against the original handwritten records.
