Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Seed, Tregarva, announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, Verna Elaine, Columbus, Ohio, to Mr. Donald Dwight Cherney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cherney, Shaker Heights, Ohio, the wedding took (sic) place Oct. 15 at Shaker Heights.

Seed - On Tuesday, October 13th, 1960, Cecil, dearly beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Seed, 1444 Robinson Street, Regina, passed away in a local hospital at the age of 88 years. Besides his wife the late Mr. Seed is survived by one son, Ivan of Tregarva, also three daughters, Mrs. (Elaine) Don Cherney, Washington, D.C., Mrs. (Adel) Casey, Bruenooge, New Jersey, USA, Mrs. (Vera) Daniels, 1444 Robinson St., eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Colton, Indian Head, Sask. The funeral service will be conducted from the Bremner Funeral Chapel, Saturday, October 15th, at 1:30 p.m., with Mr. Herb Forman officiating. The interment will take place in the family plot at Tregarva. Flowers gratefully declined.
