Octo'r 26 : 1737 Deavid Childe and Grace Brown both of watertown were joined in marriage by the Rev'd Warrham Williams pastor of a Church in watertown.
↑ Bond, p. 120, identifies David's wife as d/o Abraham Brown and Mary Hyde. However Capt. Brown died before the marriage, and there is no information in his probate to confirm this. She is older than David, and there are two other Grace Browns in Watertown, ages 17 and 18, only one of which is covered by Bond. The names of their three children offer no clues. Neither Source:Child, Elias. Genealogy of the Child, Childs and Childe Families, p. 255, nor TAG, p. 62:155, chooses to identify Grace's parents. Bond has been followed, reluctantly, pending further research.
