Children

Daniel Dugger and wife Sarah both left Wills, but they no longer exist (I think), so we don't know who their numerous children were for sure. Most, if not all, of the children listed are based merely on the fact that they lived in Roane Co., TN at the same time. Of course that isn't conclusive proof that they were Daniel and Sarah's offspring, but they are all certainly closely related. Some of the assigned children could easily belong to one or more of Daniel's brothers.

Elizabeth (c1815), Sarah (c1818) and Samuel Dugger (c1820) are almost certainly siblings as they were living together in 1850. These three fit nicely into widow Sarah's 1840 household, and into Daniel's 1830 household. It seems highly likely that these three are indeed children of Daniel and Sarah.

John Dugger (c1803) was living next door to Samuel and sisters in 1850. That makes him another likely candidate to be a child of Daniel Dugger. Daniel did have an apparent son in his age group per the 1830 census.

Catherine Dugger Green (c1807) was also next to Samuel, etc. in 1850, so she is probably also part of this family.

Caroline Dugger (c1826) fits with an apparent daughter that was with Daniel in 1830 and Sarah in 1840. No proof that Caroline was the one though.

James Dugger (c1815) is included here also, but there seems to be no evidence linking him to this family. He was in Gordon Co., GA in 1850 with Alexander Dugger (Jr) and his children, but doesn't seem to be Alexander's son.

Other researchers list an Alexander Dugger as one of Daniel's sons. There does seem to be a "stray" Alexander in Roane Co., TN, though I don't know what evidence there is to tie him to Daniel.
