Wheeler, Lydia and Daniel Billing, int. 28 Dec 1778. [Mrs. Lydia and Daniel Billing, m. [torn] 11, 1779. C.R.1.] [Month of Jan assumed based on December intentions, though could possibly be February.]

  2.   Some websites identify the Lydia Wheeler who married Daniel Billing as the mother of this Lydia, i.e., Person:Lydia Allen (22), the widow of John Wheeler. The website of the Edmund Rice Association agrees this is an error, possibly originating with Source:The Genealogical and encyclopedic history of the Wheeler family in America. Any careful comparisons of birth dates of the children of this marriage as recorded in Source:Vital records of Lincoln, Massachusetts, to the year 1850 will make it clear that the mother was far too old to be the person involved in this marriage, and it must have been the daughter (see [1], for example). --Jrich 12:39, 19 March 2009 (EDT)
