Info from Matthew A. McKenzie

Four years after Bertha Collier Hawkins Stevens died in 1954, Charles Thomas Stevens married another Pennsylvania lady, Hazel Belle Kissell Shulz of Jersey Shore. Charles T. Stevens continued working as a "Clerk of the Works" (a person employed by the architect or client on a construction site. The role is primarily to represent the interests of the client in regard to ensuring the quality of both materials and workmanship) in the Pittsburgh area until his retirement in 1967.

Charles T. and Hazel then moved to Newington CT to be near Hazel's son Robert K. Shultz (her only child by her previous marriage to Martin E. Shultz), his wife Lorraine Shultz and their daughter Kathleen Shultz Rounbehler.
