↑ The Cushing genealogy, p. 33, gives this couple a daughter Elizabeth who married Joshua Moody. This was actually Elizabeth Alling/Allen, who was daughter of Elizabeth Cotton by her first husband, Rev. James Alling and stepdaughter of Rev. Caleb Cushing who had married Rev. Alling's widow.
