1. BENJAMIN3 BORDEN, JR. (BENJAMIN2, BENJAMIN1) was born Bef. 1722, and died Apr 1753 in Augusta County, Virginia. He married MAGDALENA WOODS 1744 in prob. Augusta County, Virginia, daughter of SAMUEL WOODS and ELIZABETH CAMPBELL. She was born 17 Nov 1712 in prob. Ireland, and died 1810.

The residue and best part of the Borden estate was now in the lands of Catawba and to the middle tract there the Hawkinses repaired to live. Hawkins died early leaving wife Martha and children Wm, John, Jas, Borden, Magdalen, Sarah."
