[Note: Source:Stearns, Ezra S. History of Ashburnham Massachusetts from the Grant of Dorchester Canada to the Present Time, 1734-1886 with a Genealogical Register, p. 600, says Benjamin Barrett m. (2) 18 Feb, 1786, Hannah Jones who d. Dec. 8, 1831, i.e., using the date as the date of marriage, not intentions. This makes it appear that perhaps Stearns simply (mis)copied Bond. One hopes Mr. Bond was basing his information on the records of Lunenburg, since the marriage is not recorded in Ashby. Since the records of Lunenburg that are online only cover the early period, to 1764, the record has yet to be verified.]
