You probably won't know that there are Claxy by Normanby, Claxby by Alford and Claxby Pluckacre in Lincolnshire. What happens in 1851 etc is that mostly any reference for all three is just to "Claxby". Fortunately for you I have some fiches for all three parishes but the bad news is that he does not appear in any of them, albeit Claxby with Pluckacre was combined with the adjacent parish of Moorby. As it happens I also have Moorby... and the following is taken from 1801.
Isaac son of Benjamin Richardson and Hannah his wife of Claxby bapt Feb 1st 1801 I could not see any siblings either side ± 5 years This would be Benjamin Richardson = Hannah Crampton 1800 at Bucknall (LFHS index)
I am a little worried about Christopher 1776. There is a Christopher Hooton buried in Grimsby St James 6 Aug 1846 aged 86 and Christopher Hooten = Sarah Proudlove 16 Mar 1788 ( which would make Christopher 12....) Details are : By Licence, both of Brocklesby, at Brocklesby, bach & spin, witnesses John Sanderson & Christopher Quickfall
