Obituary: New Castle News, New Castle, Lawrence Co, PA, Sept. 22, 1930, page 2

Alfred F. Shelenberger, died Saturday at his home in East Brook about 1:30 p.m. following and illness of two weeks.

Mr. Shelenberger has been a well known farmer of this district for a number of years. He was a member of the East Brook United Presbyterain Church.

He is survivied by his wife, Mrs. Nannie Shelenberger; two daughters, Mrs. T.V. Helle of New Castle and Roberta, at home; three sons, Clyde, Wibert and Harold at home; three sisters, Mrs. D. S. Heckathorne, Mrs. H. J. Montgomery and Mrs. W. D. Barnes and two brothers, W. T. and C. J. Shelenberger, all of New Castle.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the East Brook United Presbyterain Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nannie Pearl Shelenberger, 88, of 3017 Mercer Rd. died in Jamieson Memorial Hospital at 9:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon after an illness.

She was born in New Castle, Sept. 4, 1875, to Robert D. and Margaret McCreary Pattison. She was married to Alfred Frank Shelenberger who died Sept. 20, 1930.

Mrs. Shelenberger was a member of the Eastbrook United Presbyterian Church, but attended the Highland Heights UB Church. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and the Willing Workers Class of the Highland Heights Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

A service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Robert Poland officiating.Interment will be in Eastbrook UP cemetery.

Friends will be recieved nt he funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
