    Hendick Cortelyou was b. Apr. 18, 1711; d. before March 5, 1777, when his will was proved; m., 1st, Aug. 3, 1731, Antie (Ann) Albertse van Voorhees, who was b. April 15, 1711 and d. March 18, 1742, dau. of Albert Coerte van Voorhees and his first wife, Sara Willemse Cornel; m., 2nd Aug. 19, 1742, Catrina Hooglandt, who was b. July 15, 1719 and d. Oct 19, 1785, dau. of Harmanus Hooglandt, of Flatbush. Harmanus Hooglandt, who was b. Feb. 18, 1681 and bap. in New York City, March 22, 1681, m. June 20, 1707, Adriana Stoothoff, who was b. Jan. 11, 1687 and d. Aug. 18, 1761 (Hooglandt Family, pp. 64, 65). This Harmanus was son of Christoffel and Catherine (Cregier) Hooglandt (Gen & Mem. Hist. of State of N .J., vol. III, p. 1015).
