Location

Brock's Creek lies in northern Rockingham County. It is a north flowing tributary of Turley Creek, which discharges into the North Fork of the Shenandoah near Brock's Gap. Based upon the following Chalkley's record, it appears that Brock's Creek was formerly known as "Mill Creek":

It appears to have been named after George Brock who is said to have been a chain carrier for surveyors in the area by 1749.
