Todd County, Kentucky. November 4, 1835.

I Sterling Willis being weak in body but of sound mind and owing to the uncertainty of life do constitute this my last will and testament whereas my wife Sarah Willis being old and infirm and being decisions that she should be left to suffer I will first that all my just debts be paid and the remainder of my estate real and personal goods and chattels remain in the possession of my wife for her use and benefit her lifetime and at her death to be equally divided among my children VIZ Nancy Hoskins, formerly Nancy Willis, James Willis, William Willis, Jincy Hoskins formerly Jincy Willis, John Willis, Anderson Willis, Sarah Bogar, formerly Sarah Willis, Betsy Poe formerly Betsy Willis, Lettice Mundy, formerly Lettice Willis, Ann Montray, formerly Ann Willis. I will that the horse that I have in the Indiana be brought home and sold such as other of my stock and property that is likely to ... suffer and my money to be paid to the hands of my wife to use and as she may think proper her lifetime. I do appoint my wife Sarah Willis and Wyatt Poe my executrix and and executor to this my last will and testament to which I have hereunto set my hand affixed my seal the day and date above written.
