Fletcher served in 2nd Regiment of the Clark Co. Rangers 16 Jul 1856 the roster says he was 39 years old and enlisted in Vancouver.

20 Dec 1867 Sumner Baker, James Crawford and Thomas Fletcher issued patent of 105.28 acres at the Vancouver land office for land in what is now Clark Co. WA somewhere in the late 1860s T. J. and Susannah must divorce. The Clark County Pioneers book reports that Susannah passed away 10 Aug 1880 and Thomas remarried to Evelyn but the census does not support that:
